Strahl has been producing grain dryers since 1966.
From Villorba, in Treviso, where it was founded and where it maintains its operational and production roots, Strahl has, over time, become a global leader in the sector, with thousands of dryers produced and dozens of markets served the world over.
Its capacity for innovation, customisation, reliability and meticulous attention to after-sales service are the factors that have allowed the company to build a solid international reputation; Strahl is now the European leader in the grain dryers sector, with more than 80% of production destined for the foreign market and ceaseless expansion towards new markets.
The recent acquisition of the mobile dryer brand Agrimec, which has been integrated into the company structure, has allowed Strahl to further implement a complete and flexible product portfolio.
Strahl constantly invests in digital innovation and ecologically sustainable research, drawing on the most advanced tools in terms of agricultural technology.
Timeline
Strahl was founded as the Officine Minute in Villorba, in the province of Treviso, Italy. The Officine company manufactured burners for civil use, which quickly transformed into hot-air generators and then into burners for drying tobacco.
The company began manufacturing large-scale grain dryers. This activity gradually overtook the previous manufacturing lines, and opened the company to international markets.
Agrimec was founded in Grisignano di Zocci, Vicenza, quickly becoming the
number-one producer in Italy of mobile dryers. The strength of Agrimec has always been its in-depth knowledge of the agricultural sector, which is where the origins of the founders lay.
Strahl saw the merging of Officine Minute and Agrimec into a single, large scale company characterised by experience, quality, reliability and innovation.
Strahl became a part of Perdieci, an Italian holding specialised in
manufacturing, with which it shares its vision, investments and managerial know-how.
Strahl adheres to the strictest international standards throughout all the phases of its operations, with certification from the most respected bodies in the field of industrial manufacturing.
